It's an odd little game this and one that's bound to draw obvious comparisons with pong and the myriad other bouncing balls and smashing wall adventures. However, BallRebound takes a well-deserved new-look at the format and decides that rather than wait for the ball to come to you, why not draw a plank anywhere in the sky and take some control.

I'm not sure it works completely but it's a brave attempt and anything new deserves a go. Problem is perhaps sometimes simple really is best. There are 50 levels and you need to get 90% scores for promotion so be assured you will get your money's worth. Oh and it's free.

Developer's description

Deflect different coloured balls around the sky to break up a floating wall.

Ways to control the balls:

  • Draw the walls for the balls to bounce off, or
  • "Catch" a ball with a stylus and "push" it in the desired direction.

The ball hitting the target earns you 10 points, the ball hitting an obstacle – 2 points. The color of a ball determines its behavior at the impact. To pass a level you have to get 90% of the maximum possible points. There are 50 levels.
